The Star Clan's origins are shrouded in relative mystery, with many notes being lost to time, and other hidden deep, deep down. However, what's known is as follows.
The Star Clan homeworld of Alavar was originally a well-known pirate hub, which fell victim to a number of territorial disputes. At least 8 gangs fought for power over the planet, one of them being the illustrious Crimson Clan. While the Crimson Clan held little, they were smart in their endeavors, pulling a number of strings just to keep themselves in the game. They were smart, but they were endangered. However, it wasn't long before one Alpha Dagger- owner of the Clan- reached out to a friend of a friend, eventually coming in contact with an loan company with ties to the underground.
This company, Star Sutra- ran by a mysterious benefactor- quickly struck an agreement with the Crimson Clan, and helped fund its war against the other pirates. It didn't take long for them to achieve victory, and- to solidify their presence- merged with Star Sutra, formally creating the Star Clan. Now, the Star Clan had big plans for the galaxy, stretching beyond just loans and piracy; it had dreams of selling actual products. However, before this plan could be put into practice, Star Sutra's CEO suffered a heart attack, and died.
Leaving his business to one "Copernicus", the Star Clan soon went into hiding, plotting out its moves and developing a long-time plan. Now, these pirates run rampant throughout the galaxy, while sleazy corporate bastards do whatever they can for a quick buck
